Our range of services at Martin Place Dental Clinic come under three main categories:
Whatever your dental needs, our professionals will work with you to create treatment plans and payment options to complement your lifestyle and budget.
We focus on the alignment of the teeth and the jaws and we offer the latest orthodontic solutions which are comfortable and virtually invisible. Whether you’re searching for the perfect smile, or tackling a teeth alignment issue, our quality affordable treatment plans can help correct your bite and straighten your smile. Our orthodontic treatments and plans are patient-focused and tailored to suit your unique lifestyle and budget. Please see our orthodontics section to learn more about our invisible aligner treatment, ceramic and metal braces.
With titanium roots and a crown top, dental implants may be the perfect solution to replace missing or damaged teeth. Natural looking implants are a great restorative option as they are permanently placed and do not require removal for cleaning. We have a range of implant options for our clients with the assistance of instalment plans.
Please note: Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
• Dental check-ups
Making sure that your teeth are looking and functioning their best requires routine dental reviews. At Martin Place Dental Clinic your first consultation, including x-rays if required, is on the house. Book your visit online here and let us take care of you. Terms and conditions: this offer is only available to new clients.
• Cleaning and scaling
On consultation, we can assess your gum health and therefore the level of cleaning or periodontal treatment you may require. We provide scaling of the teeth and underneath the gums to remove plaque and tartar build-up as well as polishing for stain removal.
• Fluoride Treatment
We offer fluoride treatments to promote the remineralization of your teeth. Widely used in general dentistry, fluoride treatment is a simple process which involves applying the fluoride in a gel, varnish or foam to your teeth at the end of your appointment. This aids in prevention of dental caries/decay and provides symptomatic relief from hypersensitive teeth. Please note not to eat or drink for at least 30 minutes after placement.
• Direct Restorations
At Martin Place Dental Clinic, we use tooth-coloured composite resin for direct restorations (fillings). This is a highly aesthetic dental material which can be used to repair chipped, cracked, fractured, decayed and worn teeth, restoring your tooth to its original shape and function.
• Root Canal Therapy
Root Canal Therapy (RCT) is a dental procedure that replaces damaged or infected pulp with a filling. Pulp comprises nerves and blood vessels which occupy the space in the root of a tooth - the root canal. In suitable cases this treatment allows patients to save their natural teeth instead of having to extract a tooth which can leave a gap that may need to be replaced with an artificial tooth. If the tooth is left untreated there is a higher chance an infection may occur which can then spread to the jaw. Root canal therapy is generally completed over several visits and we work to ensure that you are as relaxed and comfortable as possible through the process.
• Tooth Extractions
Sometimes, removing the tooth is the only way forward. If an extraction is necessary, our practitioners will talk you through your treatment options so you’re aware of the whole process and after care options to replace the missing tooth. As with all surgical procedures, dental extractions have associated risks and possible post-operative complications. These will be discussed with you prior to any treatment.
Please note: Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks.
• Fixed or Removable Dental Prostheses
Your Martin Place Dental Clinic dental professional will work with you to create a treatment plan for your ideal denture (full or partial) or indirect restoration (such as crowns, bridges, onlays, inlays or veneers). With our advanced digital technology, we can work to design an ideal fit for your lifestyle and budget.
X-Rays (or Radiographs) are often required for diagnostic investigations and orthodontic procedures. Intra-oral radiographs (to assess individual teeth), Panoramic (OPG or Full Mouth X-rays) and Cephalometric Radiography, can all be undertaken at our clinic.
